How Our Wonderful Dogs Can Help.

There are a number of ways a Dual Trained  Service Dog can help however we'd first need to know what type of Dual Trained Service Dog  your looking for as they can range from an Autism & Seizure Service dog mix, Seizures & Mobility Service Dog, Diabetic & Seizure Service Dog etc.... With that being said our program is aided towards tailored training, we want to make sure to put together a tailored training program to fit our clients specific needs and lifestyle. A lot of the times we get potential clients asking us in what  ways the service dog would be of help to their situation, to answer that question we'd need to look at their specific needs and determine what a Dual Trained Service Dog can do for them. We have a detailed 16 page application to help us determine what specific training the dogs will need. We'll also ask for videos and additional information so we can be as accurate as possible in getting them the right dog and training program in place.

Training Process

The very first step for our dogs is going through our puppy raising program, we test them bi weekly to see which program they'd best fit into. All of our dogs are hand picked by our trains and temperament tested for each program. Once our dogs have completed our puppy raising program, we start them off in obedience. Here they learn commands such as heel, sit, down, auto sits, come, leave it, bed, load up etc....Our dogs are rasied & trained between our facility and trainers home this helps us gets the dog used to a family/home environment, thus making the transition into your home a lot easier. We try to make all the training as relevant to the what the dogs daily life style will be by beginning training in a home environment. Our dogs spend a great deal of time in obedience training since this is the foundation of the training. Each dog must demonstrate he/she has the proper level of obedience in order to move on to the next step in training by passing our standard obedience test. Our test consist of testing the dog both on and off leash in low/high level distraction setting before passing onto the next step in training.

The next steps would vary from the type of service dog we're specifically training for our client, this is something our specialist call give you more information on after filling out your application.
